Their World, Our Future
By Dan Herman
Why this matters?
In a global economy where Canadians represent less than 1% of the total population, the core skill set required to succeed will be to be able to work with, sell to and understand others from around the world. Tomorrow's world will be shaped by fast growing economies in Africa, Asia and beyond. Not everyone can afford to get out to see these places first hand, so let’s bring this world to them and in so doing break down the barriers to engagement caused by superficial differences and old perceptions.
Their World, Our Future focuses on the people driving change in places we don't commonly equate with innovation and technology. It seeks to show its audience new perspectives about these "unconventional" innovation economies, and in so doing, help catalyze a next generation of curious Canadians.
